Ostin tämän vuodelta 1965 peräisin olevan Arabian maljakon internetistä yksityishenkilöltä, aivan kuten suurimman osan muistakin maljakoistani. Jotkut varovat kauppojen tekemistä internetissä mutta omalta osaltani kaikki kauppani ovat onnistuneet kohtuullisen hyvin. Maksan ostokseni lähes poikkeuksetta aina etukäteen myyjän tilille joten otan tavallaan riskin jokaisessa kaupassa. Internet on kuitenkin tällä hetkellä paras paikka ostosten tekemiseen sillä huutokaupoissa hinnat kohoavat nopeasti korkeiksi ja osto-/myyntiliikkeet vievät oman katteensa henkensä pitimiksi. Yksikään maljakkoni ei ole tullut perille rikkinäisenä tai jäänyt ylipäätään tulematta perille. Pettymyksiä ovat aiheuttaneet lähinnä sellaiset yksittäiset maljakot joiden käytön jäljistä tai pohjassa olevista omistuskirjoituksista ei myyjä ole kertonut suoraan. Nykyisin pyrinkin kyselemään mahdollisimman tarkasti etukäteen maljakon kunnosta ennen ostopäätöksen tekemistä.
This Arabia's vase from 1965 I bought from an online seller just like most of the vases I own. Some buyers are very vary when it comes to buying online but my own personal experience has been fairly good. Almost in every case I pay the seller beforehand to his bank account so I basically take a risk every time I buy. On the other hand internet is the best place to buy at the moment because in auctions the prices can go pretty high and the second-hand shops take their own to cover their expenses. All my vases have arrived unbroken via the postal service. There have been some disappointments with a few vases mainly because there have been wear and tear or dedications written on the bottom of the vase of which the seller had not disclosed any information. Now I try to find out the real condition of the vase by asking questions about those things before making the decision whether to buy or not.
